Carol's Girls grew out of my family's experience clearing our parents' house after Mom died.
Like so many others, I found that we needed to clear out the family home while we were still grieving the loss of our beloved parent.
My sister, brother, and I spent three weeks at the house figuring out how to do what needed to be done. And doing it together. Let's just say there were hugs, tears, some arguments, and a lot of laughter.
We decided that our approach would be to 'touch each thing' as a way of honoring our parents and the lives they built with us.
After the three weeks, we had donated, consigned, and sold almost everything, and the house was ready to be sold.
I can help you do this, too.
